Happy Owl Studio Releases 'The Leather Shell' for iPad 2
Venice, CA - Happy Owl Studio today officially announced a new case, 'The Leather Shell,' designed specially for iPad 2. The new case accommodates iPad 2's dual cameras, allows for full-port access and, of course, features Happy Owl Studio's signature style and elegance. A departure from the features that made Happy Owl Studio's 'Wallet' and 'Clutch' cases so popular, 'The Leather Shell' is an ultra-slim, hard cover with a genuine leather exterior that clips onto the back of iPad 2 and is compatible with Apple's Smart Cover.
"We love the Smart Cover, but it doesn't protect the back of iPad 2," said Ryan Jordan, Happy Owl Studio's Chief Design Officer. "We noticed that we'd worry about scratching the aluminum back when setting iPad 2 down on hard surfaces, but at the same time, we loved the super slim form-factor. And so, we were inspired to create The Leather Shell. It's polycarbonate frame protects iPad 2 while it's genuine leather exterior makes it a pleasure to hold.
